SMAI Karate uniforms and protectors are approved by the World Karate Federation (WKF).  The WKF is the international premier IOC recognized body that comprises of 188 individual countries spanned over 5 continents representing over 10 million Karate Ka internationally in sports karate.  SMAI has a proud history in Karate supplying the most prestigious events in the WKF calender such as the WKF world Senior Championships, World Junior Championships, Asian Games, Pan American Games, Pacific Games and Asian Oceania Karate Federation and Pan American Karate Federation.  We are very proud of our history with the WKF and have consistenly held WKF homologation in some form since 2004.
